September 2003
|
| Allison spent much
of September 2003 in China helping mom and dad and her new little sister
Emily. Click here
for the China 2003 page. Prior to the China 2003 Excursion, she did
make time to spend Labor Day Weekend at Chinese Heritage Camp. It was
at camp, however, that she received the call from CCAI informing of her
travel dates and itinerary for the China trip, so that news overshadowed the
camp experience. |

of the Southwestern US in conjunction with NEXPO 2003. She visited two
new states - Nevada and Utah, and also visited several National Parks along
the way. Click here

May 2003

Allison visited her grandparents in Memphis
during May 2003, and was able to attend the family reunion while there.
Another first was riding out a tornado in grandma's bathtub. |

March 2003
|
Blizzard of 2003
|
| Allison was the
lucky recipient of almost seven feet of snow during the Blizzard of 2003.
Snow started falling early-evening Monday, March 17 and did not stop until
the early hours of Thursday, March 20. Although she was unable to
leave the house for over four days, she counts herself lucky for not having
lost power as many did. |

only thing better than all this snow is great weather to enjoy it with.

January 2003
|
|
Allison
was very lucky to have a few open days on her calendar and made some time to
see San Francisco while in town to meet with her friends at the Mercury
News in San Jose. |

dim sum and a cool refreshment at the

either. (Photo courtesy of Larry Frakes.) |
Allison enjoys the
company of Tina and mom while having a nightcap after dining at the
Cliff House. |
Although a bit
groggy from an unscheduled wake-up call, Allison doesn't mind sharing the
frame with a bridge and a view of the city. |
|
 |
 |
 |
 |
| Not
previously acquainted with the technology, Allison enjoys a ride on the
cable cars. |
 |
 |
 |
 |
| |
Allison also made
the obligatory stop by Fisherman's Wharf Pier 39 to have a bite at the Hard
Rock, where she rendezvoused with her very dear friends, Bridgett and
Melissa |
Friends
are, well, priceless. |
